I installed netscape on my computer and outlook stopped working. I had to remove office and then reinstall it in order to get outlook back. Now when I try to open outlook it just hangs at the spash screen. If anyone has had somehting similar..I am open to any suggestions. T.

I did this with a splash screen which was essentially the About box. When invoked as a modal dialog, it had an OK button, and OnOK and OnCancel simply called the superclass methods. As far as the spash screen in the console (boarder with dynamic images during boot), my laptop does not do that, but it may be because I set vga in lilo.conf to a I do get the spash screen on my SuSE 7.3 and 8.2 PCs, but usually simply switch to a different full screen console for login and most tasks.
