One quick question, is there a way to disable the splash screen that pops up when you start Mail Center? Since I already know what mail client I'm using I don't need to see the splash screen each time....

Well, since WLMC is ultimately based on OE codebase, it might still work as it did in OE. Worth a try, at least. Open regedit and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0 Create a DWORD value "NoSplash" and change it to "1".

Use regedit and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail
Add a new dword "NoSplash" and set value to "1"

Did you reboot after changing the registry setting that Kurt suggested?
At least try logging off. Usually, logging off will refresh the registry. Much faster and you don't have to go through the whole rebooting shite.
